The Fendig family has a long history in the Brunswick and St. Simon’s Island areas. Albert Fendig was born in 1870 in Indiana, and moved shortly thereafter to the St. Simons area. The Fendig’s interest in real estate began when Albert bought Cumberland Island.
He worked at shipyards building naval ships and in his spare time worked in the real estate business. Since that time the Fendig family has involved in real estate, and many other businesses in this
area. The family has worked hard in this community to provide a positive impact for
