Ben Fendig is a fourth generation native of Glynn County. He graduated from the University of Georgia in 1979 with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree Majoring in Real Estate and Urban Economics. Ben worked initially in Real Estate Investment for Metropolitan Life Insurance Company in their Southeast United States Investment division out of Atlanta, Georgia. With the family entrepreneurial spirit and desire to return home he spent twenty years in the Coastal area helping to start and operate a variety of businesses. In 2002, he helped to start Fendig Realty, Inc., a full service brokerage company. Most recently, in October 2008, Fendig Property Management was launched with two experienced and knowledgeable individuals running our newest endeavor devoted solely to the management and leasing of properties. Ben has also helped start a number of development and real estate investment companies. In 2003, he became the Broker for Fendig Realty, Inc. Ben has been married since 1987 to the former Emily Taylor and together, they are blessed with three children. He enjoys an active life shared with children and wife in soccer, football, horses, hunting and fishing. He is a member of the St. Simons Community Church.
